Minister for SAFRON had a sideline meeting with Mr. Filippo Grandi UN High Commissioner for Refugees during the 73rd Session of Executive Committee meeting of UNHCR.

Senator Muhammad Talha Mehmood, Minister for SAFRON had a sideline meeting with Mr. Filippo Grandi UN High Commissioner for Refugees during the 73^rd Session of Executive Committee meeting of UNHCR. In the meeting, Minister for SAFRON acknowledged the continued assistance of UNHCR and discussed various issues related to Afghan refugees in Pakistan including repatriation of refugees, vaccination programs, rehabilitation of schools and continuation of education of Afghan refugees particularly in flood hit areas and support of host communities to Afghan refugees. The Minister also urged the International Community and UNHCR to continue all possible support for Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
